An afterschool program, which is the most impactful and successful program as far as building self-identity and fluency. With a
full year of immersed lessons in the Chamoru history, language, and culture, this program allows children and their families to practice and live the Chamoru language and culture
in their everyday lives.

Our peak enrollment, high impact immersion program with the opportunity for youth ages
4-11 to attend an all day summer camp where students are engaged in the Chamoru language through means of cultural activities such as singing, dancing, chanting, cooking, and numerous hands on activities.


 

In these programs, parents are encouraged to commit to their children’s progress by engaging with them in the target language and bring what they learn into practice at their homes.

The objective of these classes is to help
parents bridge the gap of learning and using
the Chamoru language, empowering them to extend its use into the home. This program is included in your child's enrollment into Tiempon Minagof and Tiempon Somnak.

These classes are targeted for single and young adult students who desire to fulfill a stronger self-identity, reclaiming their language and culture. This program aims to inspire fluency in individuals who yearn to learn the language in hopes of one day teaching it to their children in their future families.

A cultural perpetuation service provided to the community to educate and provide hands on cultural experiences such as coconut husking, coconut grating and coconut candy making; cooking, weaving, jewelry carving, and more.
